I have recently updated my cafepress shop, cafepress.com/animalartshop, by organizing the sections and introducing many new items. These are just a few products you'll find in my shop now. The shop is currently divided into two sections: Animal Art and Pets. In the Animal Art section, you'll find prints of my paintings and illustrations, and in the Pets sections you'll find prints of my pet drawings and illustrations.

Babylon Cafe Logo

I recently had the opportunity to design this logo for a restaurant in Kurdistan, Iraq called Babylon Cafe. The top design is the one chosen by the client, and the bottom two are unused proposals.

The client wanted something "iconic" from the Babylonian period, so the top and final logo represents the Tower of Babel and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. The bottom two are based on Babylonian art.

Illustrator Tutorial: Shape Texture

I have written my first tutorial on Squidoo: squidoo.com/illustrator_shape_texture! I finally gave in and signed up at Squidoo.com to start writing tutorials. The tutorial is about applying a custom texture to a shape in Adobe Illustrator, which is the same technique I used in my Howling Wolf illustration.
