Sketchbook

A few recent sketches

My sketchbook is where I'm free to experiment and make mistakes :) It's nice to just relax and draw without worrying about how it looks. It's good to let loose sometimes.

See more on Flickr.

This book inspired me to keep a sketchbook:
An Illustrated Life: Drawing Inspiration from the Private Sketchbooks of Artists, Illustrators and Designers
It's an interesting little book, and if you're really into sketchbooks or are just interested, you can find it on Amazon. It will offer a little inspiration :)

  1. I've picked up that same book twice, at two different book stores in two different cities. I debated both times about buying it. You've convinced me, I will buy it. Love your sketches!

  2. Love the lioness (hope it is a lioness or I've just inslted your art!). Is that pen and ink, pen and wash? I love the style anyway.

  3. Thank you, Alexandre. Yes, it is a lioness, and it is pen and watercolor :)
